Every season I send out a printed newsletter to constituents of Vancouver East with important updates on my work in Parliament and in the community. The printed newsletter is a resource available to all Members of Parliament to communicate with their constituents. It is the most effective way to ensure that MPs can communicate with all constituents anonymously without needing to collect private contact information.
To make my newsletters accessible to more people in the community, the printed version is in English and Chinese, about 20% of constituents in Vancouver East speak Chinese at their native language. The newsletters are also translated in French.
To minimize environmental impact, the newsletters are printed on recycled paper and on non-toxic, biodegradable ink.
