Parliament Video: Throne Speech response - much needed support for start-up businesses

On November 30, 2021 MP Jenny Kwan questioned Liberal and Conservatives Members on their responses to the Speech from the Throne:

"Madam Speaker, another issue that has surfaced in my riding of Vancouver East concerns start-up businesses. They have been excluded from pandemic support and many of them are struggling. We now have an opportunity before us with Bill C-2 to make changes so that start-up companies can get the support they need to survive the pandemic.

Would the Conservatives support such a change?"

Minister of Foreign Affairs Melanie Joly responded by saying that “too many” children and women have lost their lives, adding that 130 Canadians were able to cross the Rafah border on Sunday night.
